Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I iron my print?

Yes! Occasionally our prints on canvas/satin can become slightly wrinkled in the shipping process. Any wrinkles should iron out no problem.

We recommend using the cotton setting/high heat and to iron it on a hard, flat surface, from the back side of the print. Using the steam setting is also very helpful. Sometimes ironing it on the front side is needed as well, just make sure not to let the iron with the steam setting linger too long over the ink - it’s rare but it can possibly make the ink run if it gets too hot.

If you don’t own an iron, a steamer will work as well. Hanging the print (as if you would a garment) is the best way to do this.

My print got dirty, how do I clean it?

To clean our prints on canvas/satin, we recommend spot cleaning with a clean white rag and water if necessary. Cleaners and/or bleach might have an effect on the print and its coloring and are not recommended.

Can I hang a print on canvas in a different direction than what’s shown on the site?

For prints on canvas, unfortunately the eyelets on the canvas are pre-sewn into the material and cannot be changed. However, you can still hang a vertical piece horizontally, or a horizontal piece vertically, by simply pinning/tacking the canvas from the desired top corners. Just note that the signature will read sideways.
